1. Photo Input Requirements
- Minimum resolution: 1920x1080 (>=2 MP).
- File size: 100 KB to 10 MB, JPEG or PNG.
- Quality score: >=75/100 (recommended), >=50/100 (minimum).
- EXIF data: GPS coordinates, timestamp, and camera model must be present.
- Lighting: even exposure with no heavy shadows or overexposure.
- Angle: as perpendicular to the surface as possible, max 30-degree deviation.
- Scale reference: include a ruler or known-size object whenever possible.
2. Evidence Chain Requirements
- SHA-256 hash generated at upload (for integrity verification).
- Key EXIF metadata captured (when available) and stored.
- Upload timestamp recorded by the system.
- Chain-of-custody / audit metadata recorded.
- No post-upload image editing is permitted.
3. Report Limitations
- AI analysis is a decision-support tool and not a certified expert opinion.
- Results require validation by a qualified building professional.
- Admissibility depends on jurisdiction and case context.
- Faultrix does not guarantee legal acceptance of reports.
- Reports do not replace mandatory inspections under OeNORM B 2110.
4. When to Escalate to a Human Expert
- Confidence score below 70 percent.
- Structural safety concerns involving load-bearing elements.
- Legal proceedings or insurance disputes.
- Heritage or listed buildings.
- Complex multi-defect scenarios.
5. Jurisdiction Notes
- Austria: reports may support, but not replace, certified expert reports.
- EU: evidence rules vary by member state.
- Consult local legal counsel for admissibility questions.
