1. Scope
These terms of service govern the use of the website https://faultrix.com and the Faultrix platform (hereinafter "Services") by the user. By using the Services, you agree to these terms.
2. Fees & Payment
2.1 Pricing
- Faultrix Analysis: Free during beta (10 per account). Post-beta pricing to be announced.
- Credit Pack prices available on Pricing Page
- Prices may be changed without notice
2.2 Payment Methods
Payments are processed via Stripe. You accept the Stripe Terms of Service.
2.3 Refund Policy
As digital services, completed analyses cannot be reversed. Credits are non-refundable. Exceptions apply for service outages.
3. Account & Privacy
3.1 Account Registration
You must create an account to use the Services. You are responsible for the security of your password and all activities performed under your account.
3.2 Data
Uploaded data remains your property. You grant us a license to use it for analyses. More information in our Privacy Policy.
4. Liability & Warranties
4.1 What We Provide
Faultrix provides evidence-ready documentation features, including:
- Integrity checks (e.g., SHA-256 hashing), where technically available
- Metadata-based traceability (e.g., timestamps, EXIF/GPS where available)
- Exportable reports (PDF) with integrity metadata (e.g., hashes, timestamps)
Admissibility depends on jurisdiction and case context.

4.2 Disclaimer
Faultrix is provided "as is". We disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee court admissibility, legal acceptance, or legal outcomes, and provide NO WARRANTY for:
- Analysis accuracy or fitness for particular purposes
- Availability or uninterrupted service
- Security or absence of defects
- Court admissibility or acceptance as evidence
4.3 Limitation of Liability
Faultrix is NOT liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, even if advised of the possibility.
Total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months or €100, whichever is greater.
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 Faultrix Content
You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or rent the website and services without express permission.
5.2 Your Content
Uploaded photos and data remain your property. We may use them for analyses but will not share them with third parties without consent.
6. Prohibited Use
You agree NOT to use the Services for:
- Illegal activities or fraud
- Malware or security attacks
- Spam, phishing, or harassment
- Attempting to hack or overload system resources
- Violations of laws or third-party rights
- Manipulation or distribution of false analyses
7. Termination
7.1 By You
You can delete your account at any time in account settings.
7.2 By Faultrix
We may terminate your account immediately for: violation of these terms, illegal activities, or misuse.
8. Changes
We may change these terms at any time. Changes will be published on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
